The Camera That Told a Generation — Take That Shot.

Canon EOS R · Hakuhodo India · Pitch Campaign · Creative Concept + Copywriting

My Role: I owned the creative concept and wrote all copy — including the rap performed by Hanumankind, now one of India's most recognisable voices in hip-hop, years before "Big Dawgs" made him a global name.

The Brief: The best cameras had always come with a price tag that kept aspiring creators on the sidelines. Canon's EOS R changed that — professional-grade quality at a price point emerging creators could actually reach. The brief: make India's next generation of content creators see Canon not as their parents' camera brand, but as the tool that was finally built for them.

The Idea: Created for Creators.

Not a camera ad. A creator anthem. We built the campaign around one simple truth — that great content was never about expensive gear, it was always about the person behind it. The EOS R just closed the gap between ambition and ability.

The centrepiece was a brand anthem — part film, part rap, entirely for the creator generation that was done waiting for permission to be taken seriously. Raw, ambitious, and written to hit as hard as the insight behind it.

Canon wasn't ready to go this young. The pitch didn't convert. But sometimes the best work is the work that shows where a brand could go — if it's brave enough to get there.
