My Role: I conceptualised and wrote the campaign — including the first teaser, which was originally part of the brand communication strategy I presented. NGC liked it so much they edited it into an on-air teaser for the show.
The Brief: For Earth Day 2018, National Geographic India wanted to invite people to submit short films documenting the state of the ecosystem. The best entries would be produced by the NGC team.
The Task: create campaign teasers that made people feel the urgency of the planet's story — and their own power to tell it.
The Idea: Lights. Camera. Earth.
A call to action built like a film clapperboard — because this wasn't just an environmental campaign, it was an invitation to become a storyteller for the planet. The idea put the camera in the audience's hands and made submitting a film feel less like entering a contest and more like answering a calling.
