My Role: As a freelance consultant, I developed and executed the communication strategy to help Stiebel Eltron make its shift from an established B2B player to a recognised B2C brand in India.
The Brief: Stiebel Eltron had been operating in India for years, but almost entirely in the commercial and institutional space. With rising energy costs and a growing appetite for sustainable home solutions among Indian consumers, the brand saw an opportunity to enter the B2C market. The challenge: a brand well-known to builders and architects was virtually unknown to the people actually living in those buildings.
The work: The communication strategy was built around three pillars:
Product Features — Translating technical German engineering into benefits that everyday Indian consumers could understand, relate to, and want.
Brand Awareness — Building Stiebel Eltron's consumer identity from scratch, anchored in its 100-year legacy of sustainable home comfort.
Lead Generation — Moving consumers from awareness to consideration through targeted campaigns designed to bring qualified buyers into the funnel.
